Running mate picks, once made, are a difficult thing to keep under wraps. Right now, by all accounts Donald Trump will select Indiana governor Mike Pence, a solid conservative who is also a former member of Congress, to be his vice presidential choice.
It's an awesome selection. And one that makes a lot of common sense. Pence has ably ran an economically diverse state and he knows the corridors, some of them rank, in Washington.
Okay, it's not "I Like Ike" or "Tippecanoe and Tyler Too," but "Use Your Common Sense and for vote for Trump and Pence" has a nice ring to it.
