Moody's credit review coming to ILL-inois colleges

The cancer of fiscal malfeasance is spreading into other appendages of Illinois state government. Earlier this week Moody's Investment Services lowered the credit rating of ILL-inois to two levels above junk.

And they're not done, as AP tells us.

Moody's announced Friday that "reviews for downgrade" will proceed on the University of Illinois, Illinois State University, Southern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, Governors State University, Northeastern Illinois University and Eastern Illinois University.

Imagine if you are business owner and you receive a letter about a "review for downgrade." Does your heart rate jump? Does your stomach churn?
