(Video) Detroit reporter visits dying "Trump town" National Review mocked without seeing it

Without visiting Garbutt, New York, last month elitist National Review anti-Donald Trump writer Kevin Williamson portrayed the upstate New York hamlet as a has-been town populated by white drug addicts and Social Security cheats, such as "Mike," who are supporters of the Manhattan billionaire.

Fox Detroit's Charlie LeDuff did his job by--wait for it--actually traveling to Garbutt for his "Americans" video series.

While he didn't find "Mike," he found another Kevin, a Trump supporter and a single father who works two nursing jobs. He's not a heroin addict and he's not a welfare scammer.

I have lost almost all respect for NRO ever since they set off on their NeverTrump crusade. As demonstrated here they are no longer constrained by the actual facts in their propaganda war against Trump. As Pubilius Syrus wrote long ago: "Trust, like the soul, never returns once it is gone."
