While I was writing that entry, the Chicago Blackhawks were playing the Edmonton Oilers. The National Hockey League has a hard salary cap. Which brings me back to city workers, and more generally, public employees.
Why not institute a salary cap for government employees? And why not throw term limits into the mix too?
