Baltimore's inept mayor, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, gave rioters space destroy in late April. That impetus has unleashed a killing spree. The Baltimore Sun reports that their have been 144 homicides for the first half of 2015--a 48 percent increase over the same time period last year. More than half of those murders occurred in May and June. Arrests are down too.
Rawlings-Blake lives in a gated community.
