Cuba: Cop killer terrorist claims she is a "20th century escaped slave"

Skakur's FBI wanted poster
Terrorist, escaped prisoner, and convicted cop-killer Joanne Chesimard, who now goes by the moniker Assata Shakur, in an open letter from Cuba--they allow those there?--claims that she is an "ex-political prisoner" and "a 20th century escaped slave."

Cuba of course is jailing plenty of current political prisoners.

There are two $1 million awards for the capture of Skakur, who is currently the only woman on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist List. She was convicted of the 1973 murder of New Jersey state trooper Werner Foerster.

Onetime domestic terrorist Bill Ayers is a strong supporter of Skakur.

When our embassy opens in Havana, I suggest that enterprising Cubans drop her off at the front gate so she can face justice.
