Moonrise at Utica, Illinois

Although formerly known as North Utica, most folks call it "Utica." And last month while on my Illinois & Michigan Canal trip I traveled on Illinois Route 34, also known as Dee Bennett Road.

This was the moonrise the night I was there. A few hours later there was a lunar eclipse, but I was asleep in Peru a few miles to the west by then.
