Fossil fuel triumph: Budget for North Dakota oil town increases by five times in three years

While the anti-fossil fuel Obama administration continues to drag its feet in approving the Keystone XL pipeline and oil drilling permits on federally-owned land, states such as North Dakota that embrace proven energy sources prosper.

For instance, the city commission of Williston, North Dakota just passed a budget of $250 million--which is five times the municipal budget of three years ago. Williston is at the center of the North Dakota oil boom.
