Chiraq wasn't as violent this past weekend compared to the long July 4th weekend,
but three Chicagoans were murdered and at least 28 others were shot. One of the murders was
witnessed by a Chicago alderman, the liberal Joe Moore of the 49th Ward. So far at least, an understandably shaken up Moore isn't blaming society.
Although no one was shot, two Chicago police officers were injured
breaking up a riot at a permitless-concert at Montrose Beach, including one who was hit in the head by a bottle.
