(Exclusive photo) Lake Superior iceberg in June

A friend of the blog who wishes to remain anonymous sent me this cell phone photograph taken last week of an iceberg in Lake Superior off of Big Bay, Michigan.

He said the June berg was "bigger than a strip mall."

Global warming has bypassed Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The water temperature in Lake Michigan remains in the 30s.
