Breaking: Senators want to name buffalo our national mammal

Such a designation won't be damaging, as ObamaCare is, but a number of senators in the Dakotas and elsewhere want to have the American bison, better known as the buffalo, named our country's national mammal.

These senators should instead direct their energies on other matters, such as investigating the VA Scandal, the Benghazi murders, and the Fast and Furious gun running scheme.
