After a violent Mother's Day weekend, Monday and early Tuesday morning wasn't much better in the nation's third largest city. At least twelve Chicagoans were shot in a twelve hour period. There is some good news--there were no fatalities.
Two of the shootings were in the West Pullman neighborhood, where Barack Obama was a community organizer. Three of the Mother's Day weekend shootings took place there in the Far South Sid neighborhood.
