(Video) Ronald Reagan's 1983 Christmas address

In his 1983 Christmas radio address, President Reagan spoke of the birth of Jesus--and the birth of our nation, as well as the charitable efforts of Americans during the season of giving. It was not all good news--Reagan reminded us of those in the Communist bloc who were not free to worship as they chose.

Of the Man from Galilee, Reagan said, "He is divine, living assurance that God so loved the world He gave us His only begotten Son so that by believing in Him and learning to love each other we could one day be together in paradise."
