(Photo) Running cross country for Carl Sandburg High School

Before I ran marathons I ran track and cross country in high school. Here I am at the finishing chute in 1976 in one of my first races for Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, Illinois.

This year's Eagle harriers earned a spot in Saturday's state meet in Peoria. Go Sandburg!
