(Photo) Belleau Lake--another lake created by the building of the Tri-State Tollway
Earlier this week I posted an entry about one of the lakes created in the 1950s when fill was needed to build Interstate 294, the Tri-State Tollway.
Another of these bodies of water near Chicago's O'Hare Airport is
Belleau Lake
on Algonquin Road in Des Plaines.
