Obama wrongly claims Ford, not Government Motors, top USA automaker

Earlier today while speaking at a Ford Motors plant near Kansas City, President Obama claimed that Ford--which did not receive a federal bailout-- is "the number one automaker" in the United States.

General Motors, also known as Government Motors, still tops Ford; the former outsold the latter by 200,000 vehicles in the first eight months of 2012. The mainstream media is overlooking--shocking--this latest Obama gaffe.

The federal government, along with Obama's beloved United Auto Workers, owns a large part of GM.
