Illinois GOP chairman quits

Illinois Republican chairman Pat Brady, who survived a couple of attempts to oust him, announced that he is resigning today. Brady's support for gay marriage was behind those efforts to fire him.

Despite the corrupt and inept management of Illinois by the Democrats, Brady just couldn't get the job done for the GOP.

Brady's best year was 2010--but it was the Tea Party--not the state GOP, which was catalyst for Republican success that year.
