BankruptingAmerica video: Your tax dollars at work
Outside of a an H&R Block office, a reporter from BankruptingAmerica tells taxpayers about the waste of their hard-earned money. Examples include throwing away $400,000 in stimulus funds on a study of condom use, $60,000 marooned on IRS parody videos based on Gilligan's Island and Star Trek, and over $2 million in fallowed funds so the Agriculture Department could pay farmers in one county not to farm.
The USDA also managed to misspend $2 million on an intern program that hired just one full-time intern.
