(Video) Candy Crowley admits she was wrong and Mitt was right on Benghazi

Wow...now she tells us. CNN reporter Candy Crowley, the town hall debate moderator, admitted that she was wrong and Mitt Romney was right--Obama did not call the Benghazi murders an act of terror the next day.

Just watched the video. She didn't backtrack. Obama did call refer to it as a terrorist attack. It IS in the transcript. She didn't refute that. But she DID reiterate her comment (which she made immediately following the correction of Romney's claim during the debate) that the administration was still implying that the attack could also have been backlash from the anti-muslim video for the 2 weeks following. Obama shouldn't have called it a terrorist attack until they'd completed a full investigation or just stuck with it and hoped the investigate backed up his original claim. Just made him look like a liar.

Hey...for over two weeks Obama and his minions were blaming the attack on that Z-list video, The Innocence of Muslims. Obama's UN ambassador, Susan Rice, appeared on five Sunday morning news shows where she blamed that Ed Wood-esque movie.

Re-read that transcipt please. The first thing he mentioned was this "We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None."
Can you say youtube video? Later, he does indeed say "No acts of terror will ever shake ..." but he does not specifically come out and say that Bhengazi was what he was referring to. A passing refernce is NOT strong enough, if it was even that. One of our Diplomats was killed. That has not occured in over 30 years. It happend on his watch. It happened on Hillary's watch. PERIOD. They are guilty of lying that this had something to do with a lame video on yourtube.
To all those people who were offended by the video - CRY ME A RIVER!
To the previous posted - Obama lied when one of our diplomats died. PERIOD.

Anon ...you are wrong...Go back and listen to Obama's Rose Garden speech...he talks first about denigrating other people's faith(which implies the anti muslim video) then says 'nothing justifies act violence'. He then goes on to talk about 9/11...then says ''acts' of terror will not stand' ...etc ...obviously refering to 9/11 and not Benghazi. Candy Crowley was wrong and corrected herself and then tried to schmuuz the whole thing over...Jim

"Never let a good crisis go to waste."
O'dumpy uses this crisis to weaken our Freedom of Speech. Fast and Furious was intended on weakening out Right to Bear Arms. Clearly, O'dumbass and the liberal asshats hate our country and our Constitution!

Obama wasn't talking about 9/11 only, he used a plural and was obviously lumping the Benghazi attack with 9/11 and other terrorist attacks. You can't point to any language from the Rose Garden press conference that shows him excluding or distinguishing Benghazi from the other acts of terror, because he didn't. Republicans are already winning on their criticism of the administration's response and hesitancy to reveal the details it learned about the attack. Now arguing over whether Obama used or meant the specific words he used in one press conference is just silly. Romney made an insignificant messtep in the debate, got called on it, but also got supported for the "2 weeks". So stay on that. No need to reinterpret what Obama actually meant when he used those words or to demonize Ms. Crowley.

"No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done."

The above paragraph comes right after speaking of the Twin Tower attacks. Notice the usage of 'mourn four more Americans', keyword being more as in four more american deaths attributed to terrorism. To play semantics with the President's words devalue the message he was delivering.
