Released from Mayo: Jesse Jr. back home in Washington

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL) has been released from the Mayo Clinic--where he was being treated for a bi-polar disorder. He's back home in Washington. I'm not begrudging Junior for choosing to raise his family near his work--but since his wife is a member of the Chicago City Council, it's worth mentioning here.

Junior will need to explain to his constituents why he kept his absence from Congress secret for two weeks and how did press releases with his name on them get released while he was being hospitalized.

Junior has a Republican opponent this fall, Brian Woodworth. Click here to contribute to his campaign.

Thanks for passing the news along, and for sharing the link. I just made good use of it.

It feels so good to donate for the cause of sending Jesse Jr. back to Chicago, even in the piddling amounts I can afford to spend.
