I saw Hedgecock speak at RightOnline in Las Vegas at the Venetian Resort in June. I can easily see why the DNC thugs didn't take a liking to him. "Facts are stubborn things," as John Adams once said.
Here's a portion of what he said that day. "California is living, ladies and gentlemen, already in Obama's second term," he asserted early on in his address. "We know what it's like to live in a society dominated by one party," Hedgecock continued. "Chronic unemployment is a permanent feature of the economy, high taxes going higher, and oppressive bureaucracy that is anti-business by ideology and commitment. "We are not alone, Illinois is in the same boat." Hedgecock followed up with a question, "Anybody from Illinois?" There was silence. I was not the only patriot from the Land of Lincoln in the ballroom at the Venetian, but we were all too embarrassed to answer in the affirmative.
"People here from Maryland--you're in the same boat," he added.
