Revealing gaffe: Biden says "they're going to put y'all back in chains" in regards to Mitt's policies

Speaking to a crowd in Danville, Virginia--a city that is nearly 50 percent African-American, Vice President Joe Biden said, "They're going to put y'all back in chains."

Father Michael Pfleger, "Obama's priest," couldn't have said it any better.

But Biden's latest gaffe is a revealing one. Since Mitt Romney clinched the Republican nomination, President Obama and his surrogates have been claiming that the GOP wants to take us back to the 1950s. The Cult of Change leader himself repeated that lie few days ago in regards to women's issues. The '50s references are part of the left's talking points in regards to this election. For instance, Gilbert Johnson, president of AFSCME, emitted this ooze about the Tea Party movement at an Occupy Milwaukee rally in June: "What you have is a bunch of haters, people that tell lies, people that want to go back to the '50s. White man rule. White man only."

Which brings us back to Biden and the "chains" remark.

Obama surrogate Stephanie Cutter refused to condemn Biden's hateful remarks. I mentioned Pfleger earlier. But Biden has fond memories of Obama's former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah "God D*mn America" Wright.
