Nanny State loses one: Bag ban bagged in McAllen, Texas

The Nanny State lost one today. A proposal to ban plastic bags in the south Texas city of McAllen has been tabled, the Brownsville Herald reported earlier this month.

That's a defeat for the Nanny State, but a victory for common sense.
