Georgia Dem charged with forgery--AP leaves out party affiliation

A Georgia Democratic politician, Freddie Ashmon, is being charged with forgery after allegedly requesting local government officials to alter his pay check stub to make it appear that he was earning $10,000 less annually--which would bring down his child support payments.

While AP did report this story--they left out Ashmon's political affiliation.

An oversight? I doubt it.
