An overlooked reason as to why Big Labor lost big time tonight in the Scott Walker recall race is that its message was designed to reach the lowest common denominator among voters.
And as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel tells us, a concession comment continues along that same stream of thought.
"We aren't going to go away," said Marty Beil, executive director of the Wisconsin State Employees Union. "We're not going to pull a blanket over our head and pee in our pajamas."
You can't get lower than that.
To be sure, tonight's loss leaves a bad taste in that union boss' mouth.

Well, you dont have to pee in your PJ's Mr union leader, the voters just pissed all over you with no regret what so ever.No head for the showers LOSER!
Since it looks like Walker's margin actually increased over 2010, maybe they should have done that instead of the recall. At least they wouldn't have wasted all that effort.
No they're not going to go away...but they are going to get progressively smaller...
"We're not going to pull a blanket over our head and pee in our pajamas."
Why not? Is there some reason that this should be any different from any other night?
"We're not going to pull a blanket over our head and pee in our pajamas."
Might want to try that, nothing else has worked!
"that same stream of thought"
"a bad taste in their mouths"
Indeed.
This line has gone viral. That's why I'm here. "Pee in my pajamas". How old is this guy? Hilarious.
