Junior co-sponsor of bill that Norquist says "incentivizes" Medicare fraud

Taking time away from defending himself as he is being investigated by the House Ethics Committee, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL) has signed on as a co-sponsor of H.R. 1971, the innocuously named Pharmacy Competition and Consumer Choice Act. However, Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform, in a letter to the bill's principal sponsor, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), writes, "Real reform should look to prevent fraud, but H.R. 1971 incentivizes it."

However, Junior continues to talk tough about Medicare fraud.
