Oakland cops use tear gas against Occupy mob

Perhaps the most brutish of the Occupy groups is in Oakland. They are stirring up trouble again tonight, AP is reporting that a mob of 2,000 had to be subdued with flash grenades and tear gas after they tried to knock down a fence and take over a vacant building. Fox News says some police officers have been injured--the occupiers were throwing objects at them.

At least 19 of the peaceful protesters have been arrested.

Oakland's inept mayor, Democrat Jean Quan, was initially supportive of Occupy Oakland.
