Yesterday's Friday news dump: White House refuses to comply with House Solyndra supboena

Yesterday the White House, you know, the one that was supposed to be so transparent with President Obama in charge, announced that it would not be complying with a subpoena for documents regarding the Solyndra scandal.

This is the same Obama who promised that the congressional ObamaCare committee meetings would be broadcast on C-SPAN.

As for the Solydnra subpoena, the White House chose to reveal this news yesterday, another Friday news dump.

Wouldn't that make him in contempt of court?

Actually it would be contempt of Congress, although I don't have the legal skills--I am not an attorney--to make such a judgement on my own. The White House will likely claim "executive privilige" as their reason for denying Congress in regards to the Solyndra demand.

But that didn't work out too well for Nixon or Bill Clinton.
