Neil Cavuto brought his Fox News Your World program to the Trump International Hotel in Chicago this afternoon for a live broadcast as part of the 15th anniversary celebration of the news network. In the background is the Chicago River--the ambient noise you hear is roar of tourist boats.
While they were broadcasting, I was recording. Pretty neat, huh?
Cavuto, who describes himself as a believer in right-to-work laws, interviewed Boeing CEO Jim McNerney, and asked him if a deal is in the works with the overreaching National Labor Relations Board, which is blocking the opening a new plant in South Carolina.
"We will not strike a deal that violates the fundamental principle of the management and the shareholders of Boeing," McNerney told Cavuto, "in placing work where it makes the company the most competitive." Spontaneous applause followed--in union friendly Chicago.
Good for him.
