WFI Responds To Obama Retreat On EPA Rule
White House Must Stop Labor Agencies

Washington, D.C. (September 2, 2011) – The Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI) today released the following statement in response to President Obama deciding against the issuance of Environmental Protection Agency smog standards:

Today's action by President Obama concerning smog standards demonstrates that this administration has the ability to voice concerns and stop harmful regulations when it chooses. Therefore, it would only make sense for the White House to communicate clearly to the National Labor Relations Board, National Mediation Board and Department of Labor that they must cease their regulatory assault against American workers and small businesses," said Fred Wszolek, spokesperson for the Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI). "The failure of the White House to stop the job-killing agenda of its labor agencies will simply confirm that President Obama has chosen to stand with labor bosses and turned his back on job creators. The choice is his and his alone.
