I've met U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), and I can assure you he doesn't look like he does in the Reuters picture the news service published earlier today.

It's an old trick of the media to post unflattering pictures of people they don't like. The Chicago Tribune's political reporters despised Mayor Jane Byrne--the mercurial "Mayor Bossy" gave them much to hate--and the Trib fired back by using photos the put her literally in a bad light.
Doug Ross, who discovered the photograph, phrases it this way: "Anybody who has ever worked in the news media knows that dozens of photographs (or scores) are taken from many angles and then evaluated before one is approved for publication."
UPDATE 3:55pm CDT: Reuters yanked the picture.

In fairness, I do the same. However, most truly are not photogenic.
The MSM is all in for Obama and going forward the savagery of the media will know no bounds.
