Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi--a liberal judge in a very liberal county, overturned Wisconsin's budget-repair bill that repeals most collective-bargaining rights for state employees, claiming in a 33-page decision that the vote for it violated the state's opening meeting law.
Of course the Democratic-minority could have voted on the bill--which still would have passed--but their loyalty to Big Labor compelled them to exile themselves in Illinois.
Wisconsin's appellate court will certainly have their say soon.
Sumi is pronounced "sue-me." Isn't that special?
