WI Supreme Court: Kloppenburg doesn't believe, can't close the sale

The ballots have been counted in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race, incumbent David Prosser, the conservative, received the most votes. For a few days after the election, it appeared that the liberal, heretofore little-known environmental lawyer JoAnne Kloppenburg, might have won by a few hundred votes. But a corrected filing error put Prosser in the lead by over 6,000 votes.

Because liberals and union members hope to use the courts to overturn Governor Scott Walker's budget repair bill, they are hoping a recount puts Kloppenburg back on top.

But does Kloppenburg believe in her own cause. When asked by a reporter if she thinks she received the most votes--14 seconds of awkward silence followed.

I work in sales. And I learned early in my career that sales people who don't believe in their product don't close many deals.

Kloppenburg doesn't have faith here. Why should her supporters?

Oh, the recount could get very expensive.

Hat tip to Power Line.
