Detroit's population has plummeted to its lowest level since 1910. It has lost 25 percent of its population since 2000, just 713,777 people call the Motor City home.
Back in 1910, there was an auto industry in Detroit, but it wasn't until the 1920s when car ownership became commonplace.
It's a devastating free fall for what was once America's fifth largest city.
