The Chicago area is three hours into the Great Blizzard of 2011. Pictured is Milwaukee Avenue in Niles, which was part of my way home. I left work at 5:30pm this evening, it usually takes me 15 minutes to get home--tonight the trip was 25 minutes long.
The roads are in terrible shape and visibility is just one-quarter of a mile. Luckily for me, many people left work early--so there wasn't much traffic on the road for me to contend with on the slippery streets.
