Ignoring the obvious fact that job creators will be hurt by not extending the Bush tax cuts, the Democratic-controlled Senate tried to end them for "the rich" in a rare Saturday session. Most small businesses, which create 70 percent of our new jobs, are included in the "rich" tax bracket.
Red State says President Obama's compromise plan on the extensions is nothing but a stealth tax increase.
And it's time for Obama to realize that he's president of all the people, not just his left-wing base. Only they oppose an extension of the Bush tax cuts.
