A czar too far: Obama appoints a carp czar

Did you know that among the collection of czars President Obama has appointed, that there is a Great Lakes czar? Yep, Cameron Davis is King Neptune of the inland seas. He must be terribly overworked, because at the urging of Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL)--who never found a problem that more government spending couldn't solve--President Obama has appointed an Asian Carp czar. The exotic invader threatens to overwhelm the Great Lakes and this new czar is needed. Or so Obama and Durbin thinks. Has our mainstream media contacted Davis and asked him why he can't fight foreign fish?

If there is a Republican Senate next year, one of the first items of business should be to rein in the czars. In fact, aren't senior appointments supposed to be approved by the Senate anyway, according to the "advise and consent" provision in the US Constitution?
