Rep. Steve Kagen (D-WI)--vulnerable because of ObamaCare votes

ObamaCare is unpopular in northeast Wisconsisn's 8th congressional district. It's represented by Rep. Steve Kagen (D-WI), a doctor who should know better.

In November he voted "yes" on ObamaCare.

But in March Dr. Kagen wasn't so sure.

Kagen said the health care bill should be split up into smaller bills.

"I have made the case to the speaker and also to the White House that we should take small pieces, small bites," Kagen said. "In the practice of medicine, I can't give a child a big pill. What do we do? We cut it up into pieces. Let's find things we can agree on."
Small businessman Reid Ribble, who is seeking the GOP nomination in the 8th, issued the following statement after Kagen voted for that big pill.

Today's passage of health care reform was a sober reminder that our congressman, Dr. Steve Kagen, is more interested in helping (House Speaker) Nancy Pelosi than the citizens of Wisconsin's 8th district.
RealClearPolitics list the 8th as "Leans Democrat." But Election Day is three months from now.
