Feds drop charges against Blago's brother Robert

Breaking from Chicago: US Attorney's Office of Northern Illinois has dropped all charges against Robert Blagojevich, the brother of disgraced former Governor Rod Blagojevich. The trial of the Blagojevich brothers ended in a hung jury, with the exception of Rod being found guilty of one count of lying to FBI agents.

There appears to be a rift between the Blagojevich brothers, something Robert hinted at during an interview with Roe Conn and Richard Roeper on WLS-AM last week. Blago has not repaid his brother the $30,000. Blago's relationship between Chicago Alderman Dick Mell, his father-in-law and initial political patron, turned bitter.

Rod Blagojevich: A bad governor, a worse person.

Blago Trial II will begin in January.
