The storm is dumping snow in the Midwest is headed to Washington. Amidst of this meteorological mayhem, the Washington Times is reporting that the White House will create a new office, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Climate Service.
President Obama says he will focus on job creation in his second year, and true to his word, he has created a job.
The purpose of this office is to study and report global warming--even though much of research involving man-made climate change has been discredited by the Climategate scandal.
Rep. Edward Markey (D-MA) is a co-sponsor of the jobs-killing cap and trade bill, and he is hot for this new office: "This service will be a vital part of our growing body of knowledge on climate change, and will be held to the highest standards of scientific integrity and transparency."
I just looked out of my window. It's still snowing.
