Obama to write cover story for Newsweek on Haiti. Question: Is this his first piece for them, or just the first with his byline?
Which brings to mind this late 2005 Barack Obama quote, orginally published in the Chicago Tribune, that I discovered on his since-shuttered Senate web site:
I would feel very uncomfortable putting my name to something that was written by somebody else or co-written or dictated. If my name is on it, it belongs to me. (Emphasis mine.)
So...will Obama actually write the Newsweek piece?
