Obama: Stop blaming Bush, you're the president now

Man, Barack Obama still doesn't get it. The day after his policies and party were repudiated in the Massachusetts special election, he had this to say to ABC News' George Stephanopoulos about the anger in the Bay State that placed Republican Scott Brown in the US Senate:

People are angry, and they're frustrated. Not just because of what's happened in the last year or two years, but what's happened over the last eight years.

Eight years? Oh, he's talking about former President George W. Bush! You're the president now--lead, don't blame.

Oh, Mr. President--wake up, voters are angry with you and your arrogant cohorts.

SHHH! Keep it quiet! Martha Coakley proved that when Dems blame Bush, independents view it negatively and vote against Dems (for the very reasons you state). I hope the Dems keep doing it. And I hope that President Obama campaigns for all Dem candidates - he's brought the kiss of death to every Democrat that he's visited so far.
