Over Obamacized

On Sunday, President Obama will appear on virtually every Sunday news talk show imaginable--but not Fox News Sunday--because Chris Wallace would have the audacity to ask tough questions. Which of course means Obama fears that Wallace embarrass him.

And on Monday, Dear Leader will be the sole guest on Late Night with David Letterman.

Is this too much Obama? Even the New York Times is wondering:

All that has sparked another debate over the O word — "overexposure" — which has become a principal topic around the White House in recent days.

Is the president cheapening his currency by being so visible? Or is he simply being media savvy?

Those arguing that there has been too much Obama include Ken Spain, communications director for the National Republican Congressional Committee. “People are beginning to tune the president out,” Mr. Spain declared in an interview Wednesday.

White House aides maintain that the president is the single best advocate for his message, and they tend to treat questions of whether he is being overexposed with the annoyance one might direct at a fly.

I suppose his shilling for ObamaCare might nudge up his poll numbers for a few days--as did his joint session of Congress speech did last week.

But then his approval ratings will be back to where he was at the beginning of the month: Low.

Then what is he going to do?

Hold town halls? Address a joint session of Congress? Appear on a bunch of TV shows?

Rubes - what's the over and under that Bertha Lewis is a no show on Fox Sunday?

Money, marbles, or chalk - I'll hold that Andy Stern muzzles Ms. Lewis by Sunday and she back out.

What about the possibility that Obama is returning the snub Fox gave him by not covering the address to Congress?

Do you really think Wallace could embarrass Obama? Tell me the question(s) he would ask to do this.

Although I'm not on your side about anything it appears, I do like your blog name.
