The wreckage of disgraced governor Rod Blagojevich continues to wash ashore. Yesterday, University of Illinois President B. Joseph White resigned. Only in Illinois can a political scandal sink a college president. I'm sure this happened here and there before the Chicago Democrat took office. But under Blago, quite a few unqualified applicants to the state's flagship university were admitted to the school at the urging of state politicians.
