Sen. Roland Burris (D-Blagojevich) must have known his number was up once Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan announced she'd seek a third term as the state's top law enforcement official.
Burris' only hope to win next winter's Democratic primary would be in a crowded primary field.
Tomorrow Burris will announce he won't be running for a full term.
State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, the Boy Banker, is expected to run. Chris Kennedy, a son of Robert F. Kennedy, is weighing a bid.
