He didn't mention Chicago Alderman Joe Moore (49th), but since no Democrats showed up, even if he was invited, he probably wouldn't showed up.
But he did show up to last night's Independent Voters of Illinois--Independent Precinct Organization annual dinner.
Oh, the name...IVI-IPO is a far-left group which endorses a token Republican now and then.
Unlike the Tea Party, which was free, there was a cost to attend the dinner, but $200 additional charge to hobnob at a private reception.
Tom Mannis of the Chicago News Bench doesn't note if that reception free drinks or a cash bar, but he reports on Moore's four-letter outburst there:
He tried to crash the party, and was told he didn't have a ticket, at which point Joe Moore lost his mind and screamed "F--- You!" at the entire room. He then stormed out, passing Governor Quinn on the way. "This is pay to play!" Moore was heard saying to the Illinois Guv.
I'm pretty tough on Moore, but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. Since our country is marching towards socialism, I can see where Moore could get confused. After all, shouldn't the federal government pay for Moore's socializing?
On the other hand, Moore should drop in at a Tea Party and learn a few things.
