There's been a lull in Rod Blagojevich stories lately, but he is back in the news this evening.
The disgraced ex-governor will be the recipient of the services of a couple of lawyers from the successful team that defended hip-hop star R. Kelly last year, the father and son team of Sam Adam and Sam Jr. They briefly represented the Chicago Democrat after his December arrest.
Not part of the team is famed Chicago defense attorney Ed Genson, who led the R. Kelly legal team in last year's trial. Genson also defended Blago for a short while, but dumped the hair-brained pol because he refused to "listen to what I say."
The Adams will be paid $110 an hour. The money will come from the Friends of Blagojevich campaign fund.

I don't know why he'd hire them again. He could have lost his Governorship all by himself and he'll be convicted all by himself.
