Obama in Baghdad

Just a few minutes ago, Air Force One landed in Baghdad, the President Barack Obama will meet with soldiers at Camp Victory.

Thanks to the surge, the war that Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) declared lost has been won, and Iraq is a much safer place.

As for the president, it's important to keep in mind Obama first gained traction among Democratic supporters in the earliest days of the presidential campaign as the anti-Iraq War candidate.
