Captain freed off coast of Somalia

A US intelligence official is reporting that Capt. Richard Phillips has been freed off of the coast of Somalia.

Reports are sketchy, but it appears that US Navy SEALs rescued Phillips, who had been held hostage by Somali pirates for two weeks. Three kidnappers are reported to be dead.

There's a lesson in this for the Obama administration. FBI agents, in addition to the military, had been sent to the Indian Ocean to deal with the crisis. High seas piracy is a military matter, not a law enforcement one.

It is time to remind these scum that ships flying the American flag are just too much trouble, and shall be left alone. The Somali pirates are constantly saying they are not afraid of the United States. That will change.
