As I blogged this morning, the season's first major snow fall arrived today in the Chicago area. Pictured is St. Peter's United Church of Christ Cemetery in Skokie, Illinois, which is just a few blocks from my home in Morton Grove. The mausoleum belongs to the Harrer family, one of preeminent families in the early days of Niles Township.
George Harrer was Morton Grove's first mayor, serving from 1895-1907. I don't know if he is interred in the crypt.

Cool photo, John. (No pun intended.)
It wasn't that cold. 32 degrees, chilly enough for snow, though.
Mundo Creepy-oh.
